A workshop is being planned for employers wanting to learn more about employing staff to work in their orchards and packhouses.
While the workshop content is still being developed at this stage, the topics being covered may include the following:
- orchard bonus and/or incentive schemes
- orchard provided accommodation
- wet weather stand downs
- employment contracts
- working hours and days
- holidays and statutory holidays
- calculating paid breaks
- Covid alert level issues
This is a great opportunity to learn if your employment policies and practices are up to date and will help you attract and retain great employees in a competitive market.
