A free workshop for employers and their HR managers wanting to find out more about employing staff in their orchards and packhouses, is being held in Alexandra on Wednesday, 6 October. The workshop will be run by the Otago Southland Employers' Association.
The workshop content will include the following:
- orchard bonus and/or incentive schemes
- orchard provided accommodation
- wet weather stand downs
- employment contracts
- working hours and days
- holidays and statutory holidays
- calculating paid breaks
- Covid alert level issues
- questions you raise
This is a great opportunity to learn if your employment policies and practices are up to date and will help you attract and retain great employees in a very competitive market.
