Central Otago Fruitgrowers Association will be hosting Jerf van Beek from HortNZ who will cover the recent law changes affecting employment agreements including:
- Minimum Rate Increases
- Domestic Violence Victims Protection Act (Leave)
- New rest break rules
- Trail period changes
- Possible changes to work travel time calculations
There will be two workshops (if there is sufficient interest there may be a session in Roxburgh on the afternoon of 23 October).:
Cromwell - Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019 3pm to 5pm - venue to be confirmed depending on numbers
Alexandra - Wednesday, Oct 23, 2019 7pm to 9pm - venue to be confirmed depending on numbers
