The second round of consultation meetings on the commodity levy order renewal began this week in Central Otago with three well attended meetings.
This week the team will be back in the Hawkes Bay:
- Monday 23rd September, 4pm, The Function Rooms, Havelock North. This meeting will also include a biosecurity update and we will finish up with a beer.

Due to what growers told us in the round one meetings, Summerfruit NZ is not recommending any change to the levy calculation method or the addition of a cap on levies.
This meeting will complete the consultation on the commodity levy order renewal provided no new issues are raised at the meetings.
