Summerfruit growers are invited to a series of meetings to learn about changes to environmental legislation proposed by the Government.
The Government has released a draft of the Natural and Built Environment Bill for consultation, click here to find out more, with the closing date for submissions on 4 August 2021.
The Bill will be the main replacement for the Resource Management Act once enacted. HortNZ is presenting information about the draft Bill and the HortNZ draft submission at a series of meetings, and will be seeking comments and support.
At these meetings they will also talk about other regional environmental policy matter and Freshwater Farm Plans:

- Webinar – 28 July, 1.00pm.
