Central Otago and other South Island growers are invited to an Nzsummer field walk at 4pm on Friday, 5 February at Plant & Food Research's orchard in Clyde, to view and taste the Nzsummer2 and Nzsummer3 apricots.
Claire Scofield and Michael Hutton from PFR will host growers and discuss the maturity of Nzsummer apricot varieties being viewed.
Stephen Darling will provide an update on the ACIB.
For local growers who have Nzsummer trees on order for planting this coming winter, we encourage you to come along with your questions for an informal Q&A session.
