Summerfruit NZ seeks Interim Chief Executive

M Dawkins cropped webSummerfruit NZ is looking for an Interim Chief Executive to lead the organisation until outcomes of the independent industry review are considered by the Board and presented to the annual general meeting in May 2020.

This follows the recent resignation of current Chief Executive Marie Dawkins.

Marie is leading Summerfruit NZ through our critical commodity levy renewal process and will remain at Summerfruit NZ until end of the year and an interim Chief Executive is appointed.

Summerfruit NZ is now at a turning point, where the outcomes of the review will play a pivotal role in setting the future course for the organisation.  For this reason the Board has decided not to look for a permanent Chief Executive until  Directors and potential candidates know more about future requirements of the role.

Summerfruit NZ’s Interim Chief Executive will need considerable knowledge and experience in the horticultural sector and will be Wellington based.
