Central Otago District Council has launched Central Mahi, a campaign to help Central Otago employers attract and secure staff for the busy summer months when demand peaks.
Central Mahi is free for employers to take part in. It involves promotion of roles to job seekers in the lower South Island, via employer created videos, and support to help place potential employees into roles. This campaign aims to fill seasonal roles, attract individuals to undertake specific projects, or give someone the opportunity to experience your workplace and consider a permanent role in the industry.
The first step of the campaign is to get employers signed up and videos created.
