Follow the driveway down from where the bikes are lined up on the side of the road.

Future Orchard Planting Systems Field Walk, Central Otago
Plant & Food Research is hosting a Growers’ field walk on Future Orchard Planting Systems (FOPS) cherries, as part of the Sustainable Farming Fund (SFF) Futures FOPS project. They will be visiting Earnscy Weaver’s FOPS cherry block, which is in its fourth year of commercial harvest. Plant & Food Research will discuss the upcoming harvest and showcase some of the picking platforms used in this FOPS system. The event will provide an opportunity for growers, consultants, tech providers, and researchers to share their experiences, and learn from each other.
