Packhouse and Orchard Managers, please ensure that all new growers you are working with are registered with Summerfruit NZ.
All commercial summerfruit growers (orchards) and their production sites must be on the Summerfruit NZ database so that packhouses and orchard managers are able to register them for export.
All new growers should complete a Summerfruit NZ Producer Member application form available on our website - click below.
and return completed forms to admin@summerfruitnz.co.nz.
All growers who intend to export their fruit are required to use Property Identification Numbers (S-PINs) supplied by Summerfruit NZ, for traceability purposes. More information about S-PINS can be found on the Portal under the Export tab. Any growers requiring S-PINS must provide the following information to export@summerfruitnz.co.nz:
- Valuation number – usually found on the rates bill
- Physical address of block/orchard
- GPS coordinates of site (main gate/entrance)
- Details of the ownership of the block/orchard – indicate whether it is owned, leased, or managed and provide the contact details of the owner
- Name of block/orchard – what the block/orchard will be known as.
