Annual General Meeting – 7 November 2025
The 32nd Annual General Meeting of Summerfruit New Zealand was held on Friday 7 November 2025 online via Teams.
Thank you to all the members who were able to attend. There were 56 members represented either in person or via proxy.
The following results from the Vevox voting app and proxy voting have been confirmed and are final.

Resolution 4
It was moved that the levy rate for the Commodity Levies (Summerfruit) Order 2020 for the 2024-25 year shall remain:
- 1.5% (plus GST) for peaches, nectarines, plums, apricots and the hybrids thereof;
- 0.75% (plus GST) for cherries; and
- 0.5% (plus GST) for processed fruit excluding fruit sold to Heinz Wattie’s Ltd for processing.

It was moved that: The Members of Summerfruit New Zealand Incorporated approve and authorise the Board of Directors to adopt and implement the mid-range of the Director remuneration structure (including honoraria and meeting fees) as recommended by the independent review conducted by the Institute of Directors.
