WorkSafe has recently completed 231 inspections across fruit and vegetable growing operations, with nearly half resulting in enforcement notices — a concerning outcome for the sector and highlighting clear areas of focus for WorkSafe.
WorkSafe and HortNZ will be holding a session for growers which is a valuable opportunity to hear firsthand from the WorkSafe inspectorate about their findings. It will include an overview of inspection outcomes and a Q&A, giving growers direct access to ask questions from the WorkSafe Inspectorate.
