Seasonal labour coordinator, Tracey Mansfield, represented the horticulture industry at the Central Lakes Job Fair last week.
Held at the Queenstown Memorial Centre, Tracey reports that they had around 250 people come through the door with Kiwi citizens or residents being the majority of attendees.
Approximately 700 local jobs were on offer and 38 employers attended. She says that there was a huge amount of interest in summerfruit work and that she managed to send a number of people looking and ready for work to the Teviot Valley.
