The ballot paper for the upcoming summerfruit commodity levy renewal is now in the hands of our independent Returning Officer at Electionz. You will receive information in the post from Electionz from the end of next week.
Electionz have run previous commodity levy order renewal referenda for not only ourselves but Horticulture NZ and NZ Apples and Pears so the voting process will be familiar to most levy payers.
We will provide more information on the voting process via our website and a special issue of Prunings next week.
It’s really important that all growers vote so we can ensure the future of Summerfruit NZ and the continuation of industry good activities.
