The first round of commodity levy renewal consultation in Central Otago will be held next week. All commercial summerfruit growers in the region are encouraged to attend one of four meetings:
- 2.00pm Monday 2 September – Cromwell Presbyterian Church, 10 Elspeth Street, Cromwell
- 9.30am Tuesday 3 September – The Church Lounge, Alexandra Community House, 14-20 Centennial Avenue, Alexandra
- 7.00pm Tuesday 3 September – Cromwell Presbyterian Church, 10 Elspeth Street, Cromwell
- 9.30am Wednesday 4 September – 103 The Store, 103 Scotland Street, Roxburgh
Please RSVP by midday Monday, 2 September to andrea@summerfruitnz.co.nz indicating which one of these meetings you will be attending.
If you are unable to make one of the meetings, we ask that you visit the levy renewal section of our website regularly, as we will be posting updates and adding to the list of FAQs already there.
Once all the points raised by growers at these meetings have been considered, there will be a second round of consultation meetings to share the outcomes and get growers’ views on them.
