Summerfruit NZ's labour coordinator, Tracey Mansfield, is already attending job expos and fielding inquiries from people interested in summer work. Currently she is collating a directory of all growers that will be recruiting and would like to be promoted at these events and online.
Growers will be receiving an email from Tracey asking if they would like to be included in the directory to help attract seasonal staff to their specific orchard and region.
The directory will be:
- used at job fairs/expos
- listed on the Handpicked Crew Facebook page
- listed on the Handpicked Crew website (currently in development)
- referred to when jobseekers, email or phone Tracey.
