Richard Mills, technical advisor for Summerfruit NZ, will be in Central Otago for a week from 17 January. Tracey Mansfield, labour coordinator for the district, will be travelling with Richard during this period.
We recognise that this is the busy time of the season but understand that if we are to help the industry, having a good understanding of all processes throughout the year is important.
Richard is interested to visit, even if briefly, as many growers as possible to share experiences.
As well, Richard is interested in getting your feedback on the season and some key issues such as spray diaries and farm plans. At the same time, he’d like to take a few photos and videos for use as training aids and in industry communications.
